CONTROL-M PLATFORM SPECIALIST

What you'll do:

In the capacity of Control-M Platform Specialist, you will assume responsibility for safeguarding the dependability of mission-critical systems through expert stewardship of the Control-M platform. Your daily remit will encompass hands-on management of installations and upgrades; troubleshooting intricate issues; optimising workflows for enhanced efficiency; as well as collaborating with stakeholders to shape future enhancements. You will be instrumental in advancing automation initiatives that empower users via self-service capabilities whilst upholding rigorous compliance with regulatory standards. By preparing strategic presentations and maintaining comprehensive documentation, you will foster transparency across teams. Your proactive engagement in disaster recovery testing and cyber security management will underpin platform integrity. Success in this position is predicated upon your responsiveness to user needs, willingness to share knowledge generously with colleagues, adaptability in response to evolving priorities, and consistent delivery of dependable outcomes that sustain business continuity.

What you bring:

* Demonstrable expertise encompassing all facets of the Control-M platform (version 9+), including installation, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, optimisation, and user support.* Extensive experience operating across Windows and Linux environments within enterprise settings.* Proven proficiency in conducting root cause analysis for complex IT incidents utilising structured problem-solving methodologies.* Familiarity with regulatory standards such as DORA or GDPR pertinent to financial or technology sectors; experience ensuring compliance is highly advantageous.* Exceptional interpersonal skills facilitating effective communication with cross-functional teams whilst fostering co-operation on compliance initiatives.* Competence with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow or JIRA alongside monitoring systems; familiarity with automation tools is considered beneficial.* A higher education qualification or equivalent industry experience in Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering disciplines.* Experience within regulated environments or critical infrastructure sectors where precision and accountability are paramount.* Advanced analytical abilities complemented by meticulous attention to detail when documenting processes or undertaking risk assessments.* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications supporting preparation of reports, presentations or procedural documents.
