Post-trade Technology Service Lead EMEA - Banking
We are seeking an experienced technology leader to head our Post-Trade Technology Services function across EMEA. This role is accountable for the end-to-end delivery, stability, and strategic evolution of the post-trade technology stack supporting the bank's trading businesses.
What you'll do:
- Own and deliver the end-to-end post-trade technology stack from design through deployment and production support
- Define and execute the EMEA post-trade technology roadmap, aligned with global strategy
- Lead the consolidation of a distributed technology landscape into a consistent, modern platform
- Deliver high-priority regulatory, revenue-enabling, and strategic initiatives within agreed budgets
- Manage a team of 15+ developers, providing technical leadership, mentoring, and escalation support
- Work closely with traders, desk heads, and Product Managers to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions
- Ensure systems meet audit, compliance, and IT control requirements
- Drive Agile delivery, running sprints, releases, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Prepare platforms for hybrid cloud adoption, including Azure
What you'll bring:
- Solid experience working in financial services, supporting post-trade technology service development delivery
- Understanding FO trading system, products, pricing & risk
- Full-stack development capabilities across .NET / .NET Core / C# / Python / SQL Server
- Experienced in CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps, automated testing frameworks
- Familiar with in-house system integration across the trade lifecycle
- Agile SDLC with a strong focus on resilience, data governance, and operational stability
- Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom is required. Candidates must be able to commute to the London office at least three days per week.
