Project Manager - Data & Systems Migration
An exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join a global asset management firm, leading a data-heavy system migration programme as part of a wider transformation. You will be responsible for end-to-end delivery of the migration, with a strong focus on data integrity, governance, and stakeholder management. The role involves working closely with technical teams, business stakeholders, and third-party vendors to ensure delivery on time and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a system and data migration project within an asset management environment
- Establish and maintain effective project governance and delivery frameworks
- Manage scope, timelines, budget, risks, and dependencies
- Oversee data migration planning, validation, reconciliation, and cutover activities
- Produce core project documentation including plans, RAID logs, RACI matrices, dashboards, and status reports
- Manage senior stakeholders and vendor relationships
Skills & Experience
- Project Management experience within asset or investment management
- Proven delivery of system and data migration projects
- Strong data focus, including data quality and reconciliation
- Excellent stakeholder and vendor management skills
- Project management qualification (PRINCE2, PMP, or equivalent)
