Security Architect, SC Cleared

Robert Walters is working in partnership with a leading technology services and cyber security leader which specialise in supporting sectors across but not limited to Government, Defence and Critical National Infrastructure (CNI). They are market leaders in leading innovation across Cyber Security, Secure Gateways and Cross-Domain Solutions.

Due to continued growth, they are keen to appoint a Security Architect, Home Based, paying a salary range of £75,000 to £85,000. You must be SC Cleared of eligible for vetting.

Security Architect, SC Cleared: Duties

• Ensure secure design principles, cyber risk management and assurance
• Translate security requirements into coherent security architectures
• Responsible for security design quality, technical assurance and controls
• Secure Information Exchange
• Secure-by-design
• Cyber Risk Management
• Identity and Access Management
• Network and Platform Security
• Data Security
• Cryptography
• Security Monitoring and Detection
• Innovation and Technology Development

Security Architect, SC Cleared: Experience

• Security architecture, cyber security, systems engineering
• Designing security controls within complex technical systems
• Work across multidisciplinary architecture and engineering teams
• Produce security architecture and design documentation
• Translate cyber risk into technical requirements
• Assess solution designs for security weaknesses and control gaps
• Engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Security Architect, SC Cleared: Technical

• Security Architecture - SbD, Zero Trust, IAM
• Network Security - Firewalls, VPN, PAM
• Data Security - Encryption, Key management, Secure Information Exchange
• Application and Platform Security
• Frameworks and Standards - NCSC, ISO 27001, Cyber Essential, MoD 05-138, NIST
