We're supporting a leading global financial services organisation in hiring a Senior Business Analyst to work on medium to large-scale change initiatives across business and technology.

This role sits within a mature delivery environment and is suited to an experienced BA who can operate independently, lead complex requirements activity, and mentor more junior analysts.

The role

As a Senior Business Analyst, you'll take ownership of end-to-end requirements delivery, working closely with business stakeholders, technology teams and third-party vendors.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading requirements planning, stakeholder analysis and prioritisation

  • Facilitating complex workshops and collaborative sessions with diverse stakeholder groups

  • Eliciting, analysing and documenting business and system requirements using enterprise standards

  • Managing requirements through sign-off, traceability, change and implementation

  • Supporting testing activities including functional testing, UAT and production readiness

  • Partnering with third-party vendors on solution evaluation and requirements alignment

  • Producing high-quality documentation including process models, use cases, user stories and acceptance criteria

  • Providing guidance and mentoring to junior Business Analysts

  • Ensuring adherence to enterprise BA standards and methodologies

What we're looking for
  • 5+ years' experience as a Business Analyst on large, complex initiatives

  • Strong experience across requirements planning, elicitation, analysis and management

  • Comfortable working across Waterfall, Iterative and Agile delivery environments

  • Proven ability to engage senior stakeholders and resolve requirements-related issues

  • Experience supporting vendor-led solutions and evaluations

  • Strong documentation skills across process modelling, data requirements, business rules and user stories

  • Excellent communication, facilitation and relationship-building skills

Qualifications (desirable):

  • Degree in Business Analysis or related discipline

  • CBAP or PMI-PBA certification

  • Postgraduate or Master's-level BA certification
