Role Overview As a Senior Compliance Specialist in our Enterprise Compliance Advisory team, you will partner with Vanguard Europe's key enterprise functions (Operations, IT, Cyber Security, Finance) to provide proactive, commercially minded compliance advice, guidance, and oversight. This role plays a critical part in enhancing resilience, strengthening third party and technology risk management, and embedding robust cybersecurity and AI governance practices.You will drive forward the Enterprise Compliance Programme by identifying, evaluating, and mitigating regulatory and operational compliance risks, ensuring Vanguard maintains an effective, future ready risk posture aligned with emerging threats and evolving regulatory expectations.

What You'll Do* Act as a trusted adviser to enterprise functions by providing strategic compliance guidance, overseeing regulatory obligations, and translating emerging regulations into actionable risk management and control measures across resilience, cyber security, third party, operational, and technology risk domains* Oversee AI compliance practices by embedding regulatory requirements throughout the AI lifecycle, ensuring alignment with emerging European AI laws, and promoting responsible and ethical adoption of AI across Vanguard Europe* Identify and assess compliance risks across cybersecurity, operational resilience, third-party relationships, and emerging technologies (including AI), contributing to risk management strategies and supporting issue remediation and escalation* Support the delivery and execution of global Enterprise Compliance programs by enhancing resilience, cyber, third-party, and technology risk initiatives, collaborating across functions, and promoting best practices and process optimization* Build and maintain relationships across the organization to influence decision-making, promote a culture of compliance, provide guidance, and represent Compliance in governance and cross-functional initiatives

What You Bring* Proven compliance experience - technology risk, cyber security, third party risk, operational resilience, and AI governance* Proven experience providing compliance advice and experience interpreting and translating regulatory requirements (FCA regulatory experience)* Experience within Financial Services, Banking, Investment Management or Big 4* Proactive, solutions-oriented, and trustworthy, able to anticipate risks, identify emerging issues, and guide business partners effectively
