What you'll do:
In the capacity of Senior FIX Analyst, you will assume responsibility for orchestrating sophisticated implementations and upgrades within the Network Services department. Your daily undertakings will encompass responding efficiently to technical queries from both clients and colleagues through multiple communication channels; diagnosing issues with precision; and proposing robust solutions. You will be expected to analyse multifaceted problems thoroughly, deliver insightful responses, and conduct targeted instructional sessions that empower users. By identifying software irregularities or infrastructure shortcomings, you will test alternative approaches while collaborating with other analysts on challenging cases. Maintaining detailed documentation ensures transparency in every resolution report produced. Your dedication to best practices will drive enhancements in onboarding procedures as you advocate for standardised support methodologies across the team. Success in this role is predicated upon your ability to combine profound technical acumen with empathetic communication-ensuring all stakeholders receive attentive support throughout their engagement.
What you bring:
a. Four (4) year degree in a technical field such as Finance, Economics, Mathematical Finance, Computer Information Systems, or relevant field
b. Seven (7) years of overall work experience
c. Advanced working knowledge of FIX protocol and its implementation/integration
d. Advanced Financial knowledge with focus on Derivative instruments, Fixed Income, and Equity financial instruments
e. Prior trading support
At least five (5) years of experience on the Charles River application
