What you'll do
* Design and build scalable Spring Boot microservices that power critical business applications
* Create robust units, Cucumber, and Playwright tests, championing automation and quality engineering
* Architect, deploy, and maintain AWS infrastructure using CloudFormation
* Lead system analysis, application and database design, and seamless third-party integrations
* Turn complex technical requirements into clean, maintainable, production-ready code
* Manage code promotion across development, test, and production environments, including change control and production support
* Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, contribute to pair programming, special projects, and ensure compliance with IT and security standards
What you bring
* 5-10 years of hands-on software development experience, with a passion for building reliable, high-quality solutions
* Strong skills in Java and Spring Boot (essential), and comfort working in Agile teams
* Experience with AWS, API design, and automated testing tools such as Cucumber and Playwright
* Previous experience in financial services or risk management is a plus
