As a Delivery Lead based in London, you will immerse yourself in an environment dedicated to transforming the working lives of finance and tax professionals through innovative technology. Your day-to-day activities will involve guiding a talented Scrum Team towards delivering resilient applications that address real-world challenges.

As a Technical Lead in this forward-thinking organisation, your background should reflect substantial experience guiding software development teams within inclusive settings where empathy and adaptability are highly valued. Your approach should emphasise breaking down complex challenges into actionable steps while maintaining focus on scalability and resilience. Familiarity with modern API design principles is essential alongside practical skills in database management-both relational systems and emerging NoSQL solutions. You should bring hands-on involvement with continuous integration tools as well as automated deployment processes that enable swift yet reliable releases. A deep appreciation for Agile methodologies will serve you well; active engagement in ceremonies ensures smooth project flow.

Key Responsibilities;

• Demonstrated experience leading commercial software development projects within collaborative environments focused on empathy and adaptability.
• Proven ability to break down intricate problems into manageable components while designing scalable solutions that stand up to rigorous demands.
• Hands-on expertise with REST APIs for seamless integration between systems.
• Solid background working with relational databases as well as familiarity with NoSQL technologies such as MongoDB.
• Experience implementing continuous integration pipelines alongside automated deployment strategies for efficient release cycles.
• Comprehensive understanding of Agile development principles including participation in key ceremonies like stand-ups and sprint planning.
• Hands-on coding experience would be advantageous, coupled with practical knowledge of test automation frameworks such as TDD or BDD.
• Proficiency using GIT or equivalent tools for effective code versioning and collaboration within distributed teams.
• Track record of coaching, supporting, or developing Scrum Teams towards achieving shared goals through open communication.
• Ideally some exposure to Angular or Java technologies plus experience deploying web applications on major cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
