Who You Will Work With
Our client is a global financial services firm that manages wealth, navigates complex markets, and design strategic financial objectives. The firm provides risk management solutions across a variety of sectors, emphasizing long-term relationships, and innovative approaches to financial challenges.
What You'll Do
- Own reliability, availability, and performance of large-scale data/analytics platforms across DEV, QA, and PROD environments
- Apply SRE principles to design resilient services, define SLIs/SLOs, and drive ongoing reliability enhancements
- Champion automation-first approach with Python tooling/workflows to minimise toil and boost repeatability
- Build, operate, and optimise CI/CD pipelines for data pipelines, cloud platforms, semantic models, and services
- Manage release/change processes, incident response, root cause analysis, and monitoring/observability for platform components
- Operate and optimise cloud data platforms (eg, Snowflake) for stability, scalability, and cost efficiency
- Collaborate with engineering, data, and product teams on AI services, Agile delivery, documentation, and platform evolution
What You Bring
- 5+ years of experience in SRE, production engineering, platform engineering, or a related role
- Extensive experience in Python automation/Scripting and supporting large-scale production systems
- Hands-on expertise with CI/CD pipelines and contemporary software delivery methods.
- Robust understanding of change and incident management within enterprise contexts.
- Proficiency in cloud data platforms (eg, Snowflake) and relational databases (eg, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle).
- Strong troubleshooting capabilities across application, platform, and data layers.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
