About Chase & The Accelerator
Following the successful 2021 launch of Chase in the UK, JPMorganChase is continuing its aggressive expansion of the International Consumer Bank (ICB). We are now scaling our Accelerator businesses, internal ventures focused on 0-1 greenfield builds that will define the next phase of our European digital expansion.
We operate like a series of high-growth fintechs, backed by the global scale of JPMC. We are looking for a hands-on, delivery-focused Recruiter to help us build the elite engineering teams that will power these new ventures.
The Role
This is a pure delivery-first role. You will be Embedded within the Accelerator teams, working directly with Engineering Leads and Founders to scale teams from scratch.
Your "Book of Work" will be approximately 75% Software Engineering, specifically targeting top-tier talent within the Java and Kotlin ecosystem. You won't just be filling seats; you'll be hunting for engineers capable of building scalable, secure, and resilient digital banking infrastructure from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
- Hands-on Sourcing: Proactively identify and engage "passive" top-tier engineering talent (Java/Kotlin) in the UK and European markets.
- 0-1 Scaling: Partner with stakeholders to define requirements for greenfield roles where the blueprint is still being written.
- End-to-End Delivery: Manage the full life cycle from initial outreach to closing, ensuring a "candidate-first" experience that mirrors the Chase brand.
- Market Intel: Provide Real Time feedback to leadership on the tech talent market, helping to pivot strategies in a competitive FinTech landscape.
About You
- The Tech Stack: Deep, nuanced understanding of the JVM ecosystem (Java/Kotlin). You know the difference between a "standard developer" and a "0-1 engineer."
- The Experience: Background in both high-growth FinTech/Startups and large-scale corporate environments. Able to navigate the speed of an accelerator while respecting the governance of a global bank.
- The Mindset: A "delivery machine" who thrives in high-pressure, high-volume environments where "speed to hire" is critical.
- Immediate Impact: Available to start immediately and able to get up to speed on complex delivery requirements within days, not weeks.
