About the Role
We're looking for a skilled Test Engineer to join a collaborative Agile team responsible for ensuring the quality of our highly integrated platforms. You'll be at the heart of the development process, shaping testing practices and helping deliver seamless omnichannel experiences for their users.
You'll work closely with developers, business analysts and fellow testers to create acceptance criteria, develop test approaches and execute both manual and automated testing. You'll also help drive continuous improvement, ensuring that their platforms meet functional and non-functional requirements while maintaining high standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform testing activities within Agile/Scrum teams, acting as the quality gatekeeper for omnichannel platforms and integration points.
- Uphold testing standards
- Collaborate with developers and analysts to create test plans, scenarios and acceptance criteria.
- Estimate testing effort and maintain automation test suites; document manual tests where automation is not possible.
- Execute tests covering functional, integration, performance, accessibility, browser, and device compatibility.
- Investigate defects and work with developers to resolve issues.
- Present test outcomes and provide clear feedback to stakeholders.
- Take a continuous improvement approach to testing practices.
What They're Looking For
Essential:
- Proven experience testing omnichannel platforms and their integration points.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum testing methodologies.
- Proficient in test design, execution and reporting, including test cases, scripts, plans and scenarios.
- Hands-on experience in test automation (Tosca or similar).
- Ability to work with complex business processes and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with stakeholders and present findings.
Desirable:
- Experience with Genesys or other contact centre solutions.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms like Siebel.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control, and test estimation.
- Knowledge of SQL (Oracle or Microsoft databases).
- Familiarity with JIRA, qTest, or other test management tools.
