About the Role

This is a high-impact, commercially focused Account Director position responsible for driving both account growth and new business acquisition. You will operate as a trusted advisor to clients, combining strategic account management with consultative sales to deliver measurable outcomes and long-term partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Account Management
  • Own and develop senior stakeholder relationships across key client accounts
  • Identify and execute opportunities for upselling and cross-selling
  • Create and deliver strategic account growth plans
  • Lead client meetings, presentations, and commercial negotiations
  • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction, retention, and long-term value
  • New Business Development
  • Identify, prospect, and convert new client opportunities aligned to business strategy
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities
  • Lead end-to-end sales cycles including discovery, solution design, proposal creation, and closing
  • Sales Leadership & Collaboration
  • Develop tailored, value-driven solutions to meet client challenges
  • Produce compelling proposals and commercial models
  • Accurately forecast revenue and report on pipeline performance
  • Collaborate closely with delivery, marketing, and leadership teams
  • Ensure seamless transition from sales to delivery for new client onboarding

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, account management, and new business within the Managed Services (MSP) sector
  • Strong track record of growing existing accounts while securing new clients
  • Excellent commercial acumen and negotiation capability
  • Ability to build and influence relationships at senior stakeholder level
  • Experience managing complex, consultative sales cycles
  • Strong presentation, communication, and organisational skills
  • Effective pipeline management and forecasting experience
