The Role
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for accelerating growth across a defined portfolio of channel partners. Working closely with vendor and internal stakeholders, you’ll drive solution adoption, increase share of wallet, and execute joint business plans focused on enterprise infrastructure technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and develop strong commercial relationships with allocated channel partners
- Create and execute partner growth plans aligned to vendor strategy
- Drive adoption of enterprise infrastructure solutions, with a focus on storage and compute
- Manage and support partner accreditations and programme alignment
- Deliver against joint business plans in collaboration with vendor and internal teams
- Support and execute targeted marketing and demand-generation campaigns
- Maintain a strong field presence through regular partner and vendor meetings
- Manage pipeline activity, forecasting, and opportunity progression
- Drive opportunity development through to deal closure
- Promote and manage incentive programmes within partner sales teams
What We’re Looking For
Essential
- Proven track record in IT sales or business development
- Experience working with channel partners or within a distribution or vendor ecosystem
- Strong commercial mindset with evidence of delivering against targets and KPIs
- Confident engaging with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership
- Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Advantageous
- Knowledge of enterprise infrastructure, storage, compute, networking, or hybrid IT
- Experience building and executing joint business or partner plans
- Background in high-performance or fast-paced sales environments
