Investment Banking Associate

We are working with a high-growth technology-focused investment banking boutique that is looking to add an Investment Banking Associate to its expanding team. The firm advises innovative technology companies across the TMT landscape and has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality mid-market M&A and strategic advisory mandates across Europe.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Associate to play a key role in live transactions while working closely with senior bankers and founders of high-growth technology businesses.

The Role

As an Associate, you will support the execution of M&A and strategic advisory mandates across the TMT sector, working on transactions typically ranging from €20m–€250m in enterprise value. The role offers significant exposure to clients, deal execution, and the opportunity to take ownership of workstreams in a lean deal team environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading financial modelling and valuation analysis (DCF, trading comparables, transaction comparables)
  • Preparing marketing materials including pitch books, IMs, and management presentations
  • Managing due diligence processes and coordinating with clients, buyers, and advisors
  • Supporting deal execution across buy-side and sell-side M&A mandates
  • Conducting industry and company research across technology subsectors
  • Mentoring analysts and supporting junior team development
  • Contributing to business development and client coverage initiatives

Candidate Profile

We are seeking candidates with a strong technical foundation and a genuine interest in technology and growth companies.

Requirements include:

  • 3–5 years of experience in investment banking, M&A advisory, or corporate finance
  • Prior exposure to TMT transactions strongly preferred
  • Strong financial modelling and valuation skills
  • Experience managing workstreams on live deals
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of attention to detail and strong work ethic
  • Degree from a leading university; finance, economics, engineering or related discipline preferred
