Robosapien is a UK-based venture studio building agentic vertical AI for AEC and real estate. While horizontal AI dominates the headlines, the industries that design, build, finance, and trade the built environment still run on spreadsheets, PDFs, and the institutional memory of senior experts. We build the operator-grade alternative — agentic AI products with proprietary UK data moats, designed alongside the practitioners they serve.

We are hiring Co-Founder CEOs for two active portfolio companies:

UrbanCode — AI quantity surveyor for UK construction. Upload architectural drawings and a site address, and UrbanCode returns an NRM2-aligned cost plan in 30 minutes — BCIS-grounded, planning-aware, and benchmarked against comparable UK schemes. Built for developers, general contractors, and investors.

MarketCode — AI real estate analyst for the UK. Enter a property and MarketCode returns yields, valuations, planning risk, and development viability — produced by an agentic AI reasoning across 14+ named UK data sources at the property level. Built for lenders, developers, and investors.

Role Description

This is a full-time, in-person founder role based at our Mayfair office in central London. As Co-Founder & CEO, you will own commercial strategy, drive go-to-market, and lead one of our portfolio companies from MVP to seed-funded scale-up. You will be the commercial face of the company — the person customers, investors, and partners associate with.

Responsibilities include developing and executing the go-to-market strategy, leading sales conversations with target customers, owning the fundraising process alongside the studio, building key industry partnerships, and inspiring the team to deliver against the commercial roadmap.

You will not be alone. Each company is backed by an in-house AI team already in build mode and a council of subject-matter experts in the field — drawn from quantity surveying, real estate finance, valuation, and construction operations — alongside the Robosapien studio team supporting on design, GTM infrastructure, and operating leverage. Your job is to take what's already built and make it commercial.

Compensation

This is a paid founder position. The package includes a 12-month cash stipend and meaningful founder equity, with cash compensation scaling on funding milestones. Full details discussed at first interview.

Qualifications

• Significant industry experience in UK construction, real estate, real estate finance, or proptech — with an existing network of developers, contractors, lenders, or investors who would be early customers.
• Commercial track record in B2B sales, business development, or commercial leadership — ideally in a SaaS, proptech, or construction-tech context.
• Demonstrated ability to contribute to fundraising — whether as a founder, early operator, or in a commercial role at a venture-backed startup.
• Exceptional communication skills for customer conversations, investor pitches, and team leadership.
• Strong analytical thinking and comfort with data, deal economics, and commercial modelling.
• Entrepreneurial mindset — comfortable owning ambiguity, moving fast, and operating without a manual.
• Bachelor's or advanced degree preferred; industry credibility matters more than credentials.
• Industry network and commercial experience in UK construction or real estate are highly advantageous.
