Paladign Analyst Developer

We are looking for an IBM i/RPG developer to enhance and maintain the Paladign system, used to support UK wealth management operations. The system interfaces with other internal systems, such as financial reporting, order execution, portfolio management, and client reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse business requirements, document, develop, and test software to meet requirements or fix defects.

• Perform unit and integration testing of software components.

• Manage and support software releases and maintain application documentation.

• Contribute to team standards, including code quality, tools, and best practices.

• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and other IT teams globally.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years in Financial Services with strong private banking knowledge.

• 5+ years of Paladign experience, especially the update module.

• 5+ years of IBM i (iSeries/AS400/System i/i5) development using RPG (all formats) and CL.

• Experience with XML, MQ Series, SFTP, and SQL.

Desirable:

• Java development on IBM i.

• Control-M job scheduling.

• Use of turnover/change control tools.

Communication:

• Fluent in spoken and written English.

• Able to work closely with business users, QA, and production support teams.

• Contribute to a culture of knowledge sharing and best practice across teams.
