Project Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to support the delivery of multidisciplinary engineering projects from initial design and planning through procurement, construction, installation, commissioning and final handover.

The role will involve working closely with clients, contractors, suppliers, consultants and internal engineering teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on programme and to the required technical and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage engineering work packages, project activities, schedules, risks, actions and deliverables.

• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities across mechanical, electrical, process, controls and building services.

• Manage contractors and suppliers, monitoring progress, quality, safety and performance.

• Review engineering drawings, specifications, technical documentation and design changes.

• Support procurement, equipment selection, installation, testing, commissioning and handover activities.

• Coordinate technical queries, RFIs, design changes and the resolution of engineering issues.

• Support project reporting, cost control, planning and stakeholder communication.

• Ensure works comply with relevant regulations, standards, client specifications and site requirements.

• Work effectively within complex, highly regulated and mission-critical environments where safety, quality, reliability and continuity of operations are key priorities.

Experience

• Previous experience working as a Project Engineer within pharmaceutical, chemical, process, semiconductor, data centre, advanced manufacturing or other technically complex sectors is highly desirable.
• This role is well suited to engineers with experience working across diverse project environments and multidisciplinary teams.
