Cyber Security Analyst

Location: Bishop's Gate, London
Working pattern: Hybrid - 3 days in the office during probation
Salary: Up to £75,000 + excellent benefits

We are representing a leading law firm that is looking to appoint a Cyber Security Analyst to join its growing security function.

This is an excellent opportunity for a security professional looking to develop their career within a sophisticated technology environment, with broad exposure to security operations, infrastructure and new security initiatives.

The Role

Working closely with the Lead Cyber Engineer and wider Infrastructure Operations team, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operation and ongoing development of the firm's security environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting day-to-day security operations and BAU activities.
• Monitoring and managing security technologies including Mimecast, Netskope and CyberArk.
• Investigating and responding to security alerts and incidents.
• Working alongside the firm's external SOC/SIEM provider.
• Maintaining security documentation and evidence.
• Supporting the organisation's ISO 27001 certification programme.
• Assisting the Lead Cyber Engineer with security projects and improvements.
• Helping to develop and improve security controls, processes and technologies.
• Working collaboratively across infrastructure, applications and wider IT functions.

About You

We are looking for someone with around 3-5 years' experience in cybersecurity, ideally with a background in security operations or a similar hands-on security role.

You don't necessarily need to have worked within a traditional SOC environment. We're particularly interested in candidates who have:

• Good knowledge of cybersecurity and security operations.
• Experience investigating security alerts, incidents or vulnerabilities.
• Exposure to SIEM and security monitoring.
• Experience with technologies such as Mimecast, Netskope, CyberArk, PAM or similar.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• A collaborative approach and willingness to work across different areas of technology.
• A genuine interest in developing their technical knowledge and cybersecurity career.
