Senior Rust Backend Engineer | Remote | Up to £90,000 + Benefits

I'm working with an exciting technology business that's looking to hire a Senior Rust Backend Engineer to join its growing engineering team.

This is a senior individual contributor role where you'll have a real impact, taking ownership of:

• Building and scaling production Rust microservices
• Backend architecture and technical decision-making
• Designing distributed, event-driven systems
• Driving engineering standards through code reviews and best practices
• Working with technologies including AWS, PostgreSQL, gRPC, NATS and OpenSearch

What they're looking for:

• Strong commercial experience with Rust
• Experience building scalable backend services
• Ideally, hands-on experience with async Rust in production environments

Salary: Up to £90,000 (with flexibility for the right candidate)
