Lead Software Engineer – Basingstoke, Hampshire (Hybrid)

Hybrid working 2 days onsite per week

£60k-£70k + 12% Bonus

As a Lead Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving the development of innovative, scalable solutions that enhance user experiences and deliver measurable business outcomes. This role requires someone who can collaborate across teams, champion best practices, and mentor junior members of the team.

Essential Skills

• 5years+ hands on software engineering skills across TypeScript/JavaScript, React, Node AND/OR Python
• Cloud Native design (Azure/Google Cloud ideally), and DevSecOps practices.
• Hands-on experience in web technologies, CI/CD, TDD, Kubernetes, and API-First design.
• Best practices including CI/CD, TDD and SOLID
• AI project experience - either commercially or personal projects
• GenAI, RAG or LLM
