Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Role: Senior QA Engineer

Salary: £55,000-£70,000

Location: Hybrid Working 1-2 Days a week onsite

We're working with a fast-moving, tech-driven organisation looking to grow their Quality Assurance team with a talented QA Automation Engineer. What You’ll Be Doing:

• Designing, writing, and maintaining a range of automated tests: E2E, Unit, Component, Integration, API, Smoke, and Performance.
• Building visibility and reliability into the test process through monitoring and reporting across pull requests and release cycles.
• Working closely with engineers and product owners to define and validate acceptance criteria and translate them into test coverage.
• Promoting QA best practices and driving a culture of quality and continuous improvement across delivery teams.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong experience with automation tools and frameworks such as Cypress, Jest, Postman, and working across Node.js, Java, Python, and React environments.
• Proven knowledge of testing methodologies — E2E, Unit, Component, Integration, Regression, and Smoke testing.
• Experience working in a CI/CD environment, and managing automated test steps as part of a wider dev workflow.
• A collaborative mindset, with the ability to work closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders in an Agile setting (Scrum/XP).
