The Opportunity
We’re hiring a C# / .NET Developer to work for a insurance brokerage client. You’ll join a small, collaborative technology team supporting business-critical internal applications.
This is a permanent role offering long-term stability and the opportunity to take ownership of core systems, working closely with the business on meaningful, real-world applications within the insurance sector.
🛠 What You’ll Be Working On
- Maintaining and enhancing two internal applications used across the insurance brokerage
- Supporting and improving existing production systems (BAU and enhancements)
- Working with legacy codebases and evolving them over time
- Fixing issues, improving reliability, and enhancing functionality
- Collaborating closely with internal stakeholders and technical teams
- Contributing to documentation and knowledge sharing
- Supporting the long-term transition to a stable, permanent development setup
✅ Essential Skills
- Strong experience with C# / .NET
- Solid SQL skills (queries, data handling, optimisation)
- Experience in insurance or financial services
- Experience working on live production systems
- Comfortable in a BAU / support-focused environment
- Able to attend the London office Tuesday–Thursday
⭐ Nice to Have
- VBA experience (used in internal tools)
- Exposure to front-end or mobile development
- Python experience welcome but not required
