We have a fantastic opportunity for a transformational IT professional with proven experience of managing enterprise application services in a complex environment to join us at a critical time in our business strategy and help shape the Applications team ensuring that services are reliable, secure, supportable, and aligned to business outcomes
Providing technical leadership, you will be responsible for key areas within the business:
- Owning business-critical application services (e.g. MRI, CRM, Integrations, Portal)
- Ensuring high-quality, customer-focused BAU service delivery
- Managing supplier performance and operational relationships
- Leading service transition from project delivery into support
- Embedding clear ownership, accountability, and service governance
- Developing internal capability and reducing reliance on suppliers
You will ensure that systems are stable and functioning, and will take the lead in incident, problem, and service improvement activities to ensure SLAs are always met and that systems are continually performing as expected. You will ensure that all released are operational and meet relevant criteria before delivery. Equally important is the ability to ensure the fundamental building blocks are in place to ensure system quality and processes are robust, reliable and responsive.
You will be highly technically competent in and will have practical experience of systems integration. Equipped with a strong analytical mindset with the ability to diagnose and evaluate problems requiring IT expertise and the drive and problem-solving skills to develop and implement workable solutions. You will be accustomed to leading technical teams and developing capability, improving service performance and user outcomes.
With strong collaboration skills you will be able to work flexibly as a member of a dedicated team of IT professionals with the resilience, confidence and credibility to thrive in a fast-paced working environment.
