ICT Technician Apprentice - Rochdale

As an ITC Technician Apprentice, your key duties will include:

• ICT Maintenance & Repairs: Assist in maintaining and repairing ICT equipment and systems across the school
• Workstation Configuration: Help staff set up and configure workstations to ensure smooth performance
• User Support: Provide first-line support to staff and students on basic IT-related issues and resolve common technical problems
• Student Supervision: Supervise students in ICT rooms during break and lunch times, encouraging responsible use of equipment
• Pupil Welfare: Support basic first aid and student welfare tasks, following school procedures and liaising with parents and staff when necessary
• Data Backup & Security: Ensure systems are regularly backed up, data is archived as needed, and all sensitive information is stored securely in line with data protection policies
• Training Resources: Prepare resources and materials for staff ICT training sessions
