The opportunity
As an SDR at Rockborne , you’ll generate and qualify new business opportunities with senior leaders across data, technology, and digital transformation.
You’ll be responsible for identifying target accounts, starting conversations, and booking high-quality introductory meetings for our Growth Director and Sales Managers. This is a high-activity, phone-first role where persistence, curiosity, and commercial awareness are key to success.
You’ll work directly with experienced sales leaders, refine your approach daily, and develop a strong foundation for progression into Account Executive or Client Partner roles.
What you’ll do
Prospect & Research
- Identify and research target accounts using LinkedIn, CRM data, and sales tools.
- Build strong account intelligence around key triggers: leadership changes, new funding rounds, or transformation initiatives.
- Maintain accurate pipeline and activity records in the CRM.
Outbound & Engagement
- Drive outbound outreach through high-volume phone activity supported by LinkedIn and email touchpoints.
- Engage with senior stakeholders to qualify needs and position Rockborne’s services effectively.
- Book high-quality introductory meetings for our Growth Director and Sales Managers.
- Follow a structured, consistent outreach cadence to maximise conversion rates.
Collaborate & Grow
- Partner with the Growth Director to refine your messaging, targeting, and qualification criteria.
- Join client meetings to learn how we position and sell our solutions.
- Share feedback from conversations to inform broader business development strategy.
About you
You already know what it takes to succeed in outbound sales... and you’re ready for a step up.
We’d love to see:
- Proven experience in B2B sales, lead generation, or inside sales (SaaS, recruitment, tech, or consulting ideal)
- Strong communication and influencing skills — both verbal and written
- Confidence speaking with senior decision-makers over the phone
- A disciplined, self-driven approach to hitting activity and revenue targets
- Curiosity about data, analytics, and AI , and how they shape modern businesses
- A growth mindset and genuine drive to progress into a more senior commercial role
