The Role

A strategic Senior Key Account Manager role focused on owning, retaining and growing a portfolio of NHS clients.

You’ll manage key relationships across Trusts, ICBs and national bodies, with a clear remit to expand existing accounts through consultative, tech-led selling.

This is not new business focused — it’s about deepening partnerships, identifying growth opportunities, and driving long-term value.

My client is well regarded within the sector.  The customer base is established and with a recent Government mandate within the NHS, this is a unique time to lead this offering.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and grow a high-value NHS account base
  • Build relationships with CDIOs, CIOs, IT & Digital leaders
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans
  • Identify upsell, cross-sell and expansion opportunities
  • Navigate NHS procurement frameworks (SBS, CCS, G-Cloud)
  • Manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
  • Lead QBRs and senior-level conversations
  • Maintain pipeline, forecasting and CRM accuracy

Experience Required

  • Proven Key / Strategic Account Management experience
  • Direct NHS or public sector experience (essential)
  • Track record of growing existing accounts
  • Experience selling technology, SaaS or digital solutions
  • Strong understanding of:
    • NHS structure (Trusts, ICBs, national bodies)
    • Procurement frameworks and buying cycles
  • Comfortable with long, complex sales cycles
