Accounting Software Manager
We are supporting a highly sought after and established independent firm of accountants in London that are now looking for a new accounting software manager.
As a brand new role for the firm, this individual will become the go to person for all accounting software and systems related queries, whilst also leading the training and upskilling of colleagues software knowledge.
As the lead systems professional for the firm, this individual will also have the opportunity to shape and influence the firms long term software strategy. This will likely include the identification and eventual implementation of new and enhanced accounting packages.
This position will best suit an accountant with accountancy practice experience that is looking to or has since moved into a systems accounting or software focused role. It is very important for this person to have a clear understanding of the ways client facing accountants work. You might not have prior experience of leading training programmes, but a clear desire to help and support others is essential.

Key Responsibilities of this Accounting Software Manager role are;
- Support colleagues with finance software queries, providing technical assistance as required.
- Provide ongoing training and development support to colleagues at all levels.
- Lead the software strategy for the firm, identifying and evaluating opportunities for process improvement and better ways of working.
- Design and carry out process improvement projects, involving the implementation and rollout of new practice applications and systems.
- Deliver ongoing support throughout system change and identify areas for optimisation.
You
- An accountancy practice or professional services background with prior experience of using a wide variety of accounting software packages.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels as well as partners and suppliers.
- Prior experience of training colleagues on best use and adoption of accounting systems / software is preferable.
- A clear passion and desire to help and support others.
