The Role

We’re looking for a Quality Engineer with strong automation testing experience (Cypress.io) to join one of the company’s agile development squads.

You’ll be a key part of the software delivery process — supporting new feature development, ensuring testability across the lifecycle, and driving best practices for automation, continuous integration, and deployment.

This role suits someone who’s proactive, detail-oriented, and excited by the idea of shaping testing standards in a fast-paced SaaS environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with developers and product teams to build highly testable and reliable software.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Cypress.io and other modern tools.
  • Champion quality and testing best practices across the engineering function.
  • Conduct root cause analysis, identify issues, and ensure effective resolution.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of testing tools, processes, and documentation.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to communicate test progress, results, and quality metrics.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • 3+ years’ automation testing experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Cypress.io (or similar web testing frameworks).
  • Background working in modern web applications (React, HTML/CSS, REST, GraphQL).
  • Experience implementing BDD practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Solid understanding of version control systems (Git).

Nice to Have:

  • Experience testing distributed or cloud-based applications .
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and testing tools.
  • Familiarity with NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB).
  • Exposure to API, load, or security testing .
  • Appreciation of DevOps principles and automation tooling.
