Backend Engineer - .NET

Working arrangement - Hybrid in Newcastle - 2 days in the office (Flexible)

An opportunity to work on a sophisticated core platform built with .NET (C#) and hosted on Microsoft Azure, applying modern microservices architecture at scale.

You’ll also gain exposure to Node.js and TypeScript for API development and integration work, plus Angular for front-end experiences.

The environment includes modern DevOps practices with Terraform (IaC), GitHub Actions (CI/CD), and Kubernetes for scalability and lifecycle management.

Some of the responsibilities:

• Develop high-quality, maintainable code using modern technologies.
• Work on projects covering the entire software lifecycle.
• Collaborate with clients and team members, communicating clearly and professionally.
• Contribute to requirements gathering, specification writing, and R&D.
• Maintain and update existing systems as needed.
• Stay up to date with new technologies and understand where they can be applied.

Some of the requirements:

• Experience with object-oriented programming in .NET and C#.
• Worked with Azure
• Familiar with Entity Framework, LINQ, and MS SQL Server.
• Experience with JavaScript/Typescript
• React & Node.
• Architectural expierence with Microservices.
