Senior Laravel Developer

We’re a fast-growing SaaS business building a platform used by customers every single day — and we’re looking for an experienced Laravel Developer who wants to have real ownership, real influence, and real impact.

This isn’t a “ticket factory” role. You’ll be working on core product features, improving performance and scalability, and shaping the future of a modern SaaS platform alongside a highly collaborative product and engineering team.

What you’ll be doing

• Designing, building and maintaining scalable backend systems using Laravel
• Developing new product features end-to-end — from concept to production
• Working with APIs, integrations and third-party services
• Improving performance, security and reliability across the platform
• Collaborating closely with product, frontend and DevOps teams
• Contributing to technical decisions, architecture and best practices
• Continuously improving code quality, testing and documentation

What we’re looking for

• Strong commercial experience with Laravel and PHP
• Solid understanding of MVC architecture and RESTful APIs
• Experience working with relational databases (MySQL / PostgreSQL)
• Familiarity with queues, background jobs and caching
• Comfortable working in a SaaS or product-led environment
• Someone who cares about clean code, maintainability and performance
• A proactive mindset — you like improving things, not just maintaining them

Nice to have (but not essential)

• Experience with Vue, React or modern frontend frameworks
• Exposure to cloud platforms and containerised environments
• Experience working on high-traffic or scaling SaaS products
• Automated testing and CI/CD experience
