Network Engineer

Our client (a Prime Tier-One Aerospace manufacturing organisation operating across multiple production and technical sites worldwide) delivers advanced engineered components used in mission-critical application.
Based onsite at the Farnborough facility, the Network Engineer will work closely with the Cyber Security lead and wider IT team to strengthen network infrastructure and improve security posture across several international sites. This role focuses on network architecture improvements, infrastructure deployment and projects such as VLAN segregation across multiple locations.
As the Network Engineer your responsibilities will include:
• Deliver network and infrastructure projects within agreed timelines and service quality targets
• Support the planning, deployment and coordination of IT infrastructure across the Farnborough site and associated locations
• Improve network security posture through structured network architecture and VLAN segregation
• Collaborate with international IT teams to implement and support global infrastructure initiatives
• Provide project updates to the Cyber Security lead and escalate risks or issues when required
As the Network Engineer you will bring:
• Experience in network administration across enterprise networking vendors
• Experience delivering infrastructure or network deployment projects
• Knowledge of virtualisation technologies and supporting virtual environments
• Experience managing and configuring enterprise firewalls
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with international teams
