IT Support Analyst Apprentice (Royal Bank of Canada) BlueBay Asset Management

The successful candidate will receive training and support to provide an exceptional client experience across a wide range of technology solutions. They will gain understanding of both the department and the business in order to be the first point of call for IT support issues.

Role

With mentoring and supervision, the successful candidate will undertake the following:

  • Provide a first point of contact for all business users in relation to IT support.
  • Become familiar with technical troubleshooting of both hardware and software issues.
  • Adhere to established processes centred around the service desk such as access management, incident management, service management, problem management and change management.
  • Actively participate in continued development as agreed with the training provider and your line manager.
  • Achieve personal development targets agreed between yourself and your line manager.
  • Undertake a development programme leading to a recognised apprenticeship upon completion.

Training

Successful completion of this apprenticeship gives you an accredited Level 3 Digital Support Technician, with training in how to:

  • Fundamentals of Digital Systems.
  • Administration of Digital Systems and Services.
  • Change Management.
  • Teamwork and Communications.
  • Introduction to System Security.
  • User and Stakeholder Training.
  • Working in Digital Support.
  • Data Operations and Security.
  • Pathways and Career Progression.

The role offers a permanent role upon completion of the apprenticeship depending on performance.
