Junior Digital Applications Developer
Job summary
As the Junior digital applications developer, you will be responsible forsupporting the digital applications developers ensuring the systems areconfigured to meet our digital strategy and that 'best practice' ways ofworking are facilitated.As a technical expert work alongside the Trust's care groups, clinical teams and system suppliers as necessary, to participate in the design of any new workflows that will require the development of change within digital applications. Support with analysis, scope out document requirements and carry out the configuration of the Trust business change requirements within RBFT digital applications.Understand all current processes from an "as is" perspective in relation tothe specific work stream within the Trust.Participate in the design of the new "to be" processes, completing processflows, documentation and analysis of impacts / dependencies and theconfiguration of digital applications.Understand interfaces between systems and the data exchanged, to reflect this requirement in any configuration changes.Adhere to all policies and procedures within the Configuration Team. Work collaboratively with colleagues in the support Team, back-office Informatics and throughout the Trust.

Communication and RelationshipsStakeholder Engagement: Act as a key liaison between clinical and operational staff, IT teams, and external digital solution providers (e.g., Cerner Millennium). Facilitate effective communication to ensure stakeholders understand system capabilities, benefits, and limitations.User Group Participation: Attend user group forums, supplier collaboration events, and Trust meetings to foster relationships and share knowledge that can contribute to system optimization and improvement.Technical and Non-Technical Communication: Translate highly complex technical information into clear, actionable insights for clinical and non-clinical stakeholders. Ensure that communication regarding changes to EPR systems is tailored to the audience, minimizing jargon and ensuring accessibility.Training and Documentation: Assist in the development of user manuals and conduct training sessions for Trust staff on the effective use of EPR systems. Ensure end users receive appropriate levels of system access, following Trust guidelines on security and confidentiality.
