Job summary
To support the work of the screening office team by accurate, Tosupport the work of the London Hub team by accurate, efficient andtimely execution of essential operational activities that support surgicaldiagnostic and treatment data collection and inputting under thedirection of the Data Office Manager and Service Manager - Data.To liaise closely with other Administration/Data Officers to ensureintegration of functions and facilitate providing cover for periodsof short-term absence.All Screening Office Administration and Hub Data Officers are expectedto develop the knowledge and ability to provide cover for key elements ofeach other's work. The specific elements to be covered by each DataOfficer will be specified by the Data Office Manager and ServiceManager - Data, who will also arrange appropriate training.
Main duties of the job
The London Breast Screening Programme Hub Data Team collects and inputs surgical breast cancer data for the six breast screening services based in London.Data accuracy and audit are critical performance measures of the NHS Breast Screening Programme.We are looking to recruit a Data Officer.
