Job summary

As a Business Process Partner, you will play a key role in transforming how we work by reviewing, designing, and improving processes across clinical, operational, and corporate services. You will work collaboratively with teams to identify opportunities for improvement, support digital adoption and help ensure our processes enable efficient service delivery and high-quality patient care.

Main duties of the job

Lead the review, design and optimisation of business processes across clinical, operational and corporate functions.

Work with stakeholders to identify inefficiencies and implement practical improvements aligned to organisational strategy.

Map current and future-state processes using recognised methodologies such as BPMN, Lean and service design approaches.

Support digital transformation programmes, ensuring processes align with Microsoft 365 and other business systems.

Use data, performance metrics and customer insight to inform decisions and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

Promote a culture of continuous improvement by coaching colleagues in Agile, Lean and service improvement practices.

Job responsibilities

Plan: What Youll Do

As the Business Process Manager Executive, you will:

  • Leading the review, design, and optimisation of business processes across clinical, operational, and corporate functions
  • Working with stakeholders to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements aligned to organisational strategy
  • Driving process standardisation, digital adoption, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Mapping current and future-state processes using recognised methodologies (e.g. BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation), LEAN)
  • Supporting digital transformation programmes, ensuring processes align with systems such as Microsoft 365 and other platforms
  • Establishing governance frameworks to monitor, evaluate, and continuously improve processes
  • Analysing data and performance metrics to inform decision-making and improvement opportunities
  • Advocate and promote service design and continuous improvement methodology

Champion the use, support the design and manage the collection of customer insight data to create an evidence base to support decision making in relation to service design and continuous improvement

  • Act as mentor/coach/advisor and provide training, guidance and support in Agile and Lean practices to those involved in service design and continuous improvement
  • Deliver events and produce and curate content on SharePoint to support the development of a continuous improvement culture at the Hospice

Person Specification

Qualifications

Essential
  • Business process management methodologies Lean, Six Sigma, BPMN
  • Digital tools and systems e.g. Microsoft 365, workflow automation platforms
  • Organisational change and service improvement principles

Experience

Essential
  • Proven experience in process improvement, transformation, or operational excellence roles
  • Experience working across multiple stakeholders in complex organisations healthcare or charity sector desirable
