Assembler

Hands-on refurbishment work where you're trusted to get on with the job and do it properly.
Starting w/c 5th October, with a genuine route to a permanent contract.

As an assembler, you will benefit from:

• A 2 to 4 month project with the possibility of a permanent contract
• Consistent late shift hours of 4pm to 11:30pm with unpaid 1/2 lunch break, leaving your days free
• The chance to build specialist refurbishment skills on technical equipment
• Independent work with clear expectations and no micromanagement

As an assembler, your responsibilities will include:

• Stripping down, refurbishing and reassembling electronic machines to a high standard
• Using hand and power tools safely and accurately
• Completing basic PC tasks such as logging completed units and updating records
• Carrying out checks to make sure each unit meets quality standards
• Keeping your work area safe, tidy and organised

As an assembler, your experience will include:

• Confident use of hand and power tools
• Previous experience in manufacturing, engineering or refurbishment is an advantage
• Basic PC skills, and able to read and communicate in English
• Comfortable working unattended and managing your own workload
• Used to shift work, with a reliable attendance record
• First Aid or Fire Marshal training is a bonus
• Body work experience is a bonus
