As a Hardware Support Technician, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing 1st line, on-site IT support with a strong focus on hardware troubleshooting
- Diagnosing, repairing and replacing faulty PCs, laptops, printers and peripherals
- Installing, configuring and maintaining desktop hardware and telephony equipment
- Proactively maintaining systems through updates, audits and preventative checks
- Logging, tracking and resolving issues via a ticketing system
As a Hardware Support Technician, your experience will include:
- Proven experience in an IT support or desktop support role
- Strong hardware fault diagnosis and repair capability
- Working knowledge of Windows desktop environments and Microsoft Office
- Basic networking fundamentals and device connectivity troubleshooting
- A methodical, organised approach with excellent attention to detail
