Machine Learning Engineer

London/Edinburgh | Hybrid

£100,000 – £130,000+ (DOE)

We are looking for a Senior / Lead ML Engineer to build and deploy real-world AI solutions that solve meaningful business problems. This is not a research role. This is about impact at scale.

What you will own

• End-to-end development of machine learning models in production
• Scalable ML pipelines and infrastructure
• Technical direction for AI-driven products and systems

What you will do

• Design, build, and deploy ML models that deliver measurable outcomes
• Work closely with Product and Engineering to turn business problems into AI solutions
• Optimise performance, scalability, and reliability of models in production
• Contribute to architecture decisions and engineering standards
• Mentor others and raise the technical bar across the team

What we are looking for

• Strong experience in ML engineering or applied AI roles
• Proven ability to ship models into production environments
• Deep knowledge of Python and ML frameworks (e.g. PyTorch, TensorFlow)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and MLOps practices
• Clear communicator who can bridge technical and non-technical teams
