HR Data Consultant
We're seeking an experienced HR Data Consultant to support a client project focused on improving HR data quality, reporting, and processes. This is a hands-on role where you'll work closely with the Head of HR to diagnose current challenges, streamline reporting, and recommend long-term solutions.
Requirements:
- Discovery & Analysis: Review current HR data and processes, primarily managed through spreadsheets and Power BI.
- Data Quality Review: Identify inconsistencies, gaps, and risks within employee records (approx. 1,000 individuals).
- Process Improvements: Assess how data is updated, who owns it, and make recommendations for tightening controls.
- Gap Analysis: Highlight missing or beneficial data points and suggest what should form part of the "master record."
- Quick Wins & Long-Term Solutions: Propose immediate improvements to streamline reporting, plus longer-term automation opportunities.
- Reporting: Deliver monthly updates and a final report with clear recommendations.
Desirable skills
- Strong experience in HR data management, reporting, and governance.
- Skilled in working with Excel, spreadsheets, and Power BI.
- Ability to diagnose data quality issues and design practical, scalable solutions.
- Good understanding of HR processes (JML, headcount reporting, vetting/training records).
- Ability to advise on what data should/should not be captured and shared in line with HR best practice.
- Strong communicator, able to partner with HR leaders and managers.
