PLM Consultant

Rullion are looking to recruit for the following role :

  • 7.4 hours per day , 37 hours per week Monday to Friday

We are seeking experienced PLM Consultants to act as Use Case Leads within the PLM360 programme. These roles will coordinate business requirements, manage use case backlogs, and ensure successful end to end delivery across key PLM capability areas (e.g. Documents, Requirements, PDP, Classification, MBSE).
You will represent the business where internal resource availability is limited - serve as the business proxy, ensuring each capability area is fully understood, documented, prioritised, and integrated successfully into the PLM ecosystem.


Key Responsibilities
* Lead business requirement gathering and maintain User Stories & Functional Requirements in Jira.
* Own the use case/component backlog and translate strategy into clear sprint goals.
* Coordinate cross functional SMEs, Solution Architects, and business stakeholders.
* Identify gaps and undertake alignment between current practices and proposals for PLM upgrade.
* Work with business to close gaps and identify best ways of working.
* Ensure delivered functionality meets business needs through validation & testing support.
* Represent your component in design reviews, dependency discussions, and alignment sessions.
* Identify any data migration requirements.
* Support business readiness: Show & Tell, sandbox testing, and training inputs.
Skills & Experience
* Strong background in PLM, ideally with Teamcenter experience.
* Proven ability to coordinate cross functional stakeholders across Engineering, Operations, Quality, etc.
* Demonstrated experience defining User Stories, Functional Requirements, and business processes.
* Ability to translate complex technical information into clear business language.
* Experience supporting testing, validation, and UAT cycles.
* Experience in Documents, Requirements, PDP, Classification, MBSE domains.
* Understanding of systems engineering methodologies (e.g., MBSE frameworks).
* Prior experience in engineering/manufacturing environments.
* Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and digital thread concepts

Profile
* PLM system experience, ideally Teamcenter.
* Business process mapping experience.
* Self starter able to operate independently as a business proxy.
* Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Experience supporting UAT, functional validation, and adoption activities.

PPE provided by client , H&S on site and first day induction .Hazards associated with site and home working such as trips slips and falls.
