Location: Milton Keynes (2 days per week on-site)Contract: Outside IR35Rate: Up to £550-600 per daySecurity Clearance: Active SC Clearance requiredNationality Requirement: Candidates must be sole UK nationalsOverview We are seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to support a high-profile client on the design and delivery of secure cloud solutions. The successful candidate will have extensive Azure expertise and a strong background in Microsoft security technologies, with particular experience deploying Microsoft Defender and Microsoft XDR.This is an excellent opportunity to work on a security-focused cloud transformation programme within a highly secure environment.Key Responsibilities Design and implement secure cloud architectures within Microsoft Azure.Lead the deployment and integration of Microsoft Defender across the Azure estate.Design and deliver Microsoft XDR solutions to improve threat detection and response capabilities.Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance throughout the project lifecycle.Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and engineering teams to ensure solutions align with business and security requirements.Produce high-quality architecture documentation and ensure compliance with security and governance standards.Support the migration and optimisation of cloud services while embedding security best practices.Essential Skills & Experience Proven experience as a Cloud Architect in enterprise environments.Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure architecture and cloud services.Hands-on experience deploying and configuring Microsoft Defender.Experience implementing Microsoft XDR solutions.Strong understanding of cloud security principles and Microsoft security technologies.Experience working within secure or regulated environments.Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.Requirements Active SC Clearance.Sole UK national (client requirement).Ability to work on-site in Milton Keynes two days per week.Available for an outside IR35 contract.TPBN1_UKTJ
