Job Title: Communications Manager - Social Media Program Manager
Location: London (Hybrid, onsite 3 days a week - Tue to Thu)
Contract Duration: 12 months (extension possible)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Social Media Program Manager to join a leading global technology companys central social media team. This role offers a unique opportunity to drive international social media communications, supporting programs across EMEA, LATAM, and NORAM regions. You will blend social media expertise with strong program management skills to guide and enable regional teams to execute high-impact campaigns and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead planning, coordination, and delivery of international social media programs and campaigns.
- Guide local and regional social media contacts on best practices and campaign execution.
- Develop and maintain toolkits and resources to improve social media programs and upskill teams.
- Identify growth opportunities and develop strategic social media points of view.
- Manage stakeholder communication, reporting, and action plans across multiple markets.
- Collaborate closely with creative teams on content development and oversee creative shoots.
- Support community management and foster strong relationships with regional social teams.
- Deliver workshops and training sessions to enhance social media capabilities across regions.
- Own key program streams and contribute to annual social media planning.
- Support cross-functional coordination for social initiatives involving multiple international teams.
- Work occasionally outside normal hours for coordination with Asia or US teams.
Candidate Profile
- 7+ years of experience in social media, marketing, or communications.
- Strong expertise in social media platforms, especially Instagram and Facebook, with a focus on organic and creator-led campaigns.
- Proven program and project management experience in complex matrix organizations.
- Experience working with international teams and managing cross-cultural social media programs.
- Excellent stakeholder management, relationship-building, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership, and deliver projects on time.
- Comfortable working onsite in London 3 days a week due to creative shoots and access to proprietary technology.
- Experience working across multiple countries and coordinating regional markets is essential.
- Background in tech or similar fast-paced industries preferred; candidates from agency or company-side social media roles are welcome.
