Identity Management Consultant
IAM Specialist – Contract Role
We’re working with a leading organisation on an exciting opportunity for an experienced Identity & Access Management (IAM) Specialist to join a high-impact digital programme.
Location: Culham (2–3 days onsite per week)
Contract Length: Until Dec 2026
Engagement: Inside IR35
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and configure Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) platforms
- Integrate IGA solutions with Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD
- Connect authoritative data sources (HR systems, databases)
- Design and manage identity lifecycle processes (Joiner, Mover, Leaver)
- Build approval workflows and access request processes
- Support access certification and recertification campaigns
- Develop RBAC models, role structures, and entitlement frameworks
- Configure and maintain application connectors
- Troubleshoot provisioning and synchronisation issues
- Produce clear technical documentation and runbooks
✅ Essential Skills & Experience
- Hands-on experience with IGA tools (e.g. SailPoint, Saviynt, Omada, One Identity or similar)
- Strong experience with Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD integration
- Solid understanding of identity lifecycle management and automation
- Experience with authentication protocols (SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SCIM)
- Knowledge of Active Directory, LDAP, and hybrid identity environments
- Familiarity with security frameworks such as ISO 27001 or NIST
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
⭐ Desirable
- Relevant degree (Information Security, Computer Science, or similar)
- Certifications in IAM / IGA platforms
- Microsoft SC-300 certification
- Experience with SoD policies and access risk analysis
- Scripting (PowerShell, Python)
- API integrations and web services
- Exposure to ITSM processes and change control
