🔹 Overview:

We’re partnering with a globally renowned consulting and analytics organization to hire a Senior DevOps & Backend Engineer for a high-impact project within their Strategy & Corporate Finance domain.

This is a 6-month contract (Inside IR35), working on cutting-edge, cloud-native platforms that power advanced financial analytics and decision-making.

🔹 The Role:

You’ll join a high-performing engineering team responsible for building and scaling robust, data-intensive platforms. The role is primarily DevOps-focused, with opportunities to contribute to backend development.

Key focus areas:

• Designing and managing scalable AWS infrastructure
• Implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
• Orchestrating containerized applications with Kubernetes (EKS preferred)
• Building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines
• Ensuring performance, reliability, and security of data platforms

Alongside this, you’ll contribute to backend services and data pipelines using modern technologies.

🔹 Tech Stack:

• Cloud: AWS (EKS preferred)
• IaC: Terraform
• Containers: Docker, Kubernetes
• CI/CD: GitHub Actions (preferred)
• Databases/Streaming: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Kafka
• Languages: Scala (preferred), Python

🔹 What You’ll Bring:

• Strong experience in AWS, Terraform, and Kubernetes
• Proven ability to manage and scale cloud infrastructure
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation
• Hands-on exposure to containerized environments
• Backend development experience (Scala/Python)
• Familiarity with microservices and data-intensive systems
