We’re working with a rapidly growing FinTech who are on the lookout for a QA & Technical Analyst to join their development team in Ipswich. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong QA experience who also enjoys bridging the gap between technology and business. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth delivery of robust, user-friendly systems, while helping to improve processes and accelerate innovation.

Responsibilities: As a QA & Technical Analyst, you will...

• Design, execute, and maintain manual test cases, plus lead on UAT for product releases.
• Build and manage automated test suites to improve efficiency and deployment speed.
• Translate business requirements and issues into clear Jira tickets with context and edge cases.
• Collaborate with UK and offshore teams to ensure smooth handovers and consistent delivery.

Requirements: As a QA & Technical Analyst, you will need...

• 4+ years’ experience in manual testing or hybrid QA/BA roles, ideally in complex systems.
• Strong knowledge of test automation concepts and frameworks, plus API validation (Postman).
• Proven experience with Jira, Confluence, and QA best practices.
• Excellent communication skills to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Desirables: As a QA & Technical Analyst, can you...

• Lead UAT processes and support Agile/CI/CD ways of working.
• Work with SQL, Laravel, or similar technologies.
• Apply knowledge of accessibility, UX, and responsive design standards.
• Bring domain experience in financial services, reporting, or automation.
