We are partnering with a prestigious US law firm with a strong presence in London, recognised for advising leading global organisations on complex, high-impact matters. The firm is known for its collaborative culture, forward-thinking approach, and continued investment in technology to support its international client base.
They are now seeking a talented Applications Developer to join their growing technology team.
The Role
This is a varied, hands-on role focused on developing and supporting high-performance web, mobile, and client-server applications. You will play a key part in enhancing existing systems, building new solutions, and driving innovation across the firm's application landscape.
The position combines .NET development, SharePoint expertise, and modern front-end technologies, working closely with technical and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, user-focused solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse business requirements and design effective technical solutions
- Develop and maintain ASP.NET MVC / .NET Core applications and SharePoint solutions
- Build responsive front-end interfaces using technologies such as React, Angular, jQuery, and Bootstrap
- Design and optimise SQL Server databases, ensuring performance and scalability
- Leverage low-code tools (e.g. Power Apps, Power Automate) to enhance workflows
- Develop reports and dashboards using SSRS, Power BI, and other analytics tools
- Integrate applications with internal systems and third-party services
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across supported platforms
- Provide user support and training where required
- Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and tools
- Work closely with stakeholders across the business to deliver high-quality solutions
- Support occasional out-of-hours maintenance to ensure system stability
About You
- 3+ years' experience in software development within a Microsoft environment
- Strong experience with C#, .NET (MVC/Core), and Web API development
- Expertise in SharePoint (2016/2019/SE and SharePoint Online)
- Solid SQL Server development and database design skills
- Experience with modern front-end frameworks (React, Angular, etc.)
- Familiarity with low-code platforms such as Power Platform
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage non-technical stakeholders
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
