Temporary On-Site Support Techniccian

Our client, a prestigious law firm, is seeking a Temporary On-Site Support Technician to provide first-line IT support across their London office. This role is ideal for a tech-savvy professional with strong communication skills and experience in a legal or professional services environment. This role will be based in the office 5 days a week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the first point of contact for IT support via phone, email, chat, or in person
• Provide technical assistance for hardware, software, telephony, and network issues
• Support internal meetings and events, including setup and troubleshooting of conferencing tools (Zoom, Teams, Webex)
• Assist with document production, formatting, and conversion across applications
• Manage incidents and service requests using the firm's ITSM system
• Configure and support firm-issued and BYOD mobile devices
• Liaise with vendors and engineers to resolve hardware and AV issues
• Coordinate desk setups, employee moves, and maintain neat cabling
• Maintain inventory of IT assets and participate in office projects and rollouts
• Ensure confidentiality and compliance with firm policies

Skills & Experience:

• 1-3 years of IT support experience, ideally within the legal sector
• Proficient in Windows OS and Microsoft Office, especially Word and Outlook
• Familiarity with legal applications such as iManage, Litera Compare, Citrix, and VPN
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals and mobile device support
