Senior Software Engineer

About the Job

This position is for a Senior Software Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience in backend development and a passion for building robust, scalable systems. We are looking for an engineer with a strong background in the C# .NET ecosystem, and a preference for candidates with significant experience on AWS.

You'll be responsible for developing high-quality applications across our platform, as well as designing and implementing testable, scalable code. The ideal candidate is a problem solver, eager to dive into new technologies, and ready to contribute to architectural decisions as we scale.

Responsibilities

• Develop and test backend applications
• Analyse and maintain existing software
• Design highly scalable, testable code
• Identify and resolve programming bugs
• Contribute to architectural and technical decisions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and refine platform features

Technical Skills Required

• Proficiency in C# .NET
• Experience in testing software and version control
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases
• AWS experience
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Github)

Nice to Have

• Experience with microservices architecture
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs
• Exposure to Docker or Kubernetes
• Experience with React or Native App development
