HR Project Specialist - 12 month FTC

About the role:

As an HR Project Specialist, you will support the delivery and optimisation of global HR initiatives within the HR Systems & Analytics function. The role plays a key part in the implementation, enhancement, and adoption of the Workday HCM platform. With strong HR lifecycle knowledge and deep understanding of HR data, the HR Project Specialist ensures that system solutions, processes, and data models support effective decision‐making and deliver consistent, high‐quality HR outcomes across the division.

Responsibilities:

Workday HCM Implementation & Enhancements

  • Support the planning, delivery, and rollout of Workday HCM modules and feature releases.
  • Collaborate with global and regional teams to gather requirements, validate configurations, and support testing activities.
  • Assist in troubleshooting, issue resolution, and system optimisation activities.

HR Data, Reporting & Analytics

  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all HR Systems and data sources.
  • Work with HR Analytics teams to support data-driven insights, dashboards, and reporting solutions.
  • Conduct data audits, root-cause analysis, and recommend improvements to data governance processes.

Process Improvement & HR Lifecycle Support

  • Analyse end-to-end HR processes and identify opportunities to streamline, automate, or enhance aligned with best practice approach.
  • Support HR lifecycle activities (recruitment, onboarding, performance, learning, talent, compensation, offboarding) through system alignment.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, SOPs, and user guides.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

  • Collaborate with HR teams to ensure clear communication and alignment.
  • Provide operational support, guidance, and training for HR system users.
  • Support change management through communications, user readiness, and training materials.

About you:

Skills & Knowledge

  • Strong knowledge of HR lifecycles and HR operational processes.
  • Solid understanding of HR data structures, data governance, and the importance of data quality.
  • Working knowledge of Workday HCM (e.g., Core HCM, Compensation, Talent, Performance, Learning, Recruitment and VoE) desirable.
  • Ability to analyse complex issues, interpret data, and identify effective solutions.
  • Ability to create process documentation, user guides, and project materials.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, HR dashboards, or analytics tools

Experience

  • Experience working in an HR Systems, HR Operations, HR Analytics, or HR Project role within a large or global organisation.
  • Hands-on involvement in HR system implementation, configuration, testing, or support activities.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting HR process improvements and data quality initiatives.
  • Exposure to global HR environments and cross‐functional project delivery.
